I was rather disappointed with this book. I've read other Shaara stories and have been enthralled; this one left me uninspired. Shaara's writing was fine, it just didn't keep me wanting to turn the pages. The subject matter was interesting however I felt that he didn't get the mindsets of the major players right - just my opinion. The book is still worth a read.
