Jack Sand lives in georgous and upscale Santa Barbara -spending days in heaven and nights in hell constantly reliving the murder of his wife and child. Routine is his one constant: running, breakfast at his favorite coffee shop; and conversation with his favorite waitress, Julie Price.
So when Julie is murdered, Jake can't leave it alone. Outfitting himself in neon shorts and wraparound shades, he hits the volleyball scene to hunt for a killer.
