Ingredients
  • 1 lb - baby or sliced carrots
  • 1/4 cup - water
  • 1 tbsp - margarine or butter
  • 2 tbsp - brown sugar
  • Dash - salt
  • Dash - pepper
Directions
In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients and cover. Bring to a boil over high heat. Uncover and continue boiling, stirring frequently, until all liquid evaporates, about 10 min. Carrots should be crisp-tender, serve immediately but they also store well in the fridge.
