In a med size pan on top of stove put the water and chicken broth. Take the onion and cup up in small pieces, also peel and slice up the potatoes in what ever size you like them. Add the potatoes,carrots and onions to the chicken broth and water. Cook for 30 mins or only until the potatoes are soft to the touch. Add the cram of chicken soup and evaporated milk. stir until well blended and than add the bacom that has been crumbled. make sure it is stired good and at a good eating temp. Add salt and pepper to taste
This is real easy and very tasty. I have also added a can of corn to make it corn chowder.
