Since 1973, Storey has sold millions of these small pamphlets about various aspects of birding and all aspects of home and animal husbandry. I own dozens; the books are timeless and rarely appear in used bookstores.
This book spends a bit of time explaining various types of bird feeders, the best types of foods placed within them, general instructions for placement of the feeders around the yard, etc. Then, she zeroes in on the construction of a variety of bird feeders, including a hummingbird feeder from an 8 to 24 oz. old salad dressing bottle (quite clever).
