My father was diagnosed with colon cancer 4 years ago. He continues to undergo chemo every three weeks. This is one of the first books my parents picked up to help him deal with the side-effects in a more natural way, although digestive problems do need to be treated medically at times. This book is very easy to read, it has simple recipes that address the side effects and are tasty. The easy recipes are a benefit for both caregivers and the person with cancer as having to make meals can be exhausting. Since they raved about the book, I have given several copies to other people who have been diagnosed with other forms of cancer. Each person I've given it to has loved the recipes and the easy to read format of the book.
