A dose of punctuation is offered, with a spoonful of sugar so that it goes down in the most delightful way. The 'foreword' demonstrates the misunderstanding when a panda is said to
"Eats, shoots and leaves" rather than "Eats shoots and leaves."
Readers are invited to 'look inside for evidence that commas really do make a difference." My rating is based on the assumption that the reader is interested.
The format is double pages with identical sentences differently punctuated and each with a drawing contrasting the meaning if well or badly punctuated. The last two pages of the text offer explanations of each example.
