Black and white illustrations on pages which vary in color. This is Kipling's classic story of a little elephant (in the far off and long ago days when elephant's had noses about the size of a boot) who got tired of being scolded and spanked by all his relatives and went off to find a better life - and did, after a painful, but rewarding, adventure.
