SPOLERS: Robin L. Rotham's creations are usually a joy to read. Her world building and character depths are world class. As is the case in this book. It is well crafted in terms of story and characters. The story will not disappoint. Jasmine is told she is alien, an an enemy of the alien people she is working for. The problem is, she rescued a friend from being trapped into what Jasmine believed is a forced bond, and she aided accidentally kidnapping of her friend. When her friend is rescued, Jasemin is given a choice to be bonded or imprisoned until a conflict Jasmine's alien-father started on Earth between the Aliens and the government is resolved. She chooses bonding to 3 mates. She then is overheard confessing being enemy alien. All hell brakes loose. Eventually they figure out things don't add up. They do genetic tests and her DNA doesn't match the enemy Natari. She is put to sleep to complete her transition that was being put on hold with hormones. After transition they figured that she is one of their own. Not only that but finally it made sense why one of her bond mates keep throwing up, at the thought of bonding with her. Further investigation revealed he is genetically 99.92% her equal that makes her his long lost sister. No wonder he felt like throwing up at the thought of having sex with her. Her pheromones told him she was his sister. Eventually they find the sabotage guy on the ship and manage to confront the man posing as her father. And destroy the enemy cell on Tera.

WARNING: That being said, "Enemy Overnight" unlike its predecessor "Alien Overnight" was a disturbing read. Not meant for most average Romance/Adult Novels readers. And should carry content warning that it was crafted for specific kind of reader. It is not for wide audience. Read "forced sex", sadism, humiliation, blood, pain... the unsavory parts can be skipped over, if you are determined to finish the fascinating story, but they leave the reader (that is not it's target audience and who purchased the book expecting different kind of story- based on the published premise) well the reader will be left with an unpleasant taint. A disturbing disquiet.
