A more complex plot than I expected from a book this length - a man wrongly accused of murder, the witnesses the actual murderer is hunting down, an unstable race participant, and the hero and heroine who are trying to unravel it all. He's participating in an extreme race to pick up clues and free his brother. She's the race medic who is caring for her sister's son. You get the resolution and the happy ending, but not a lot of depth.
