Collects stories from The Amazing Spider-Man 69 -89 and the Amazing Spider-Man Annuals 4 & 5. It introduces new villians The Prowler (who later becomes a good guy), The Kangaroo and the Schemer. It introduces the Black Widow in her more famous black skin tight outfit. These issues concentrate on the growing relationship between Peter and Gwen while Spider-Man takes on foes like The Kingpin, Doctor Octopus, The Shocker, Electro, The Lizard and The Red Skull with some brief skirmishes with fellow heroes Human Torch and Quicksilver. The last story in the book is from ASM Annual #5 and introduces you to Peter's Parents and what happened to them.
