This book was not as good as the books in the Miss Julia series. While the plots of all the books are somewhat farfetched, Etta Mae's Worst Bad-Luck Day was even more so. I did not find this book to be as humorous as the others and Miss Julia was not portrayed very favorably.
This was good, although not as good as the usual Miss Julia books,probably because it was in the voice of the main character, Etta Mae. The story picked up some pace about halfway through and ended very well.
