A little disjointed, and not particularly revelatory, but an interesting read by one of the more unique and smart minds in comedy.

This is literally a laugh-out-loud book! I loved the Newhart tv servies and while reading this, it brought back such memories. I could see them again.

This is not an autobiography. There are many of his routines...the driving instructor, the night watchman at the Empire State Building the night that King Kong visits with Faye Raye, the submarine commander. Bob Newhart thinks funny and he writes funny.

Read it; you'll love it.

I have been a fan of Bob Newhart's for years. I really enjoyed this book! He wrote it in such a way that it told you his personal history in a manner consistant with his sense of humour. I highly recommend this book to any Bob Newhart fan.
