I picked this book up on a whim from the clearance section of our book store, and am so glad I did! A very good, engrossing story, with many layers. I enjoyed the characters, and thought the author had good pacing of the story, and maintained the suspense well. It's definitely a Christian book, but not overly preachy. Great read!
This was the first book by Cindy Martinusen that I have read. There were several flashbacks to earlier times, which I had a hard time sifting through, but am so glad that I did. A book about love and loss. Definately no fairy tale ending here, but deals explores how to deal with the inevitable loss of a loved one.
