If it were a play, it would be the next act. If it were a book, it would be the next chapter. What's with all the pain? Without free choice, life would have no real purpose. We'd all just be sitting around waiting to find out what someone else had decided was going to happen to us. Words like morality, ambition, motivation, good, and evil would have no meaning. Our free will gives us the power of choice, but it can cause hurt. If we keep making the same choice, and each time we make the choice it causes us pain, it's because we haven't yet learned from experience to make a different choice the next time. No one is punishing us; we're simply punishing ourselves. But, again, there's a reason. We are in a time of decision. Will we remain satisfied living in a space of denial, ignorance, and unresolved issues? This is a time that is calling each and every one of us to step up to the plate with a deep dedication to our loved ones, our relationships, our lives, and ourselves. We are called to learn how to live and speak our truth with love, compassion, understanding, and forgiveness-for others and ourselves. We are excitingly on the threshold of the old and new, of light and dark, of illusion and truth, and adventure and complacency. There is no doubt there is a reason we find ourselves at the point we are in time. We have created it . . . for a reason.

I've read this book and I still have it in my personal library. A very difficult book to give up and I never will. This book was life changing for me and it's never been the same since. It's gotten better because now I understand what life is all about. I recommend this book to anyone searching for their own truth in life.
