We plan to use the book this year as part of home school curriculum but scanning through it - it's everything a kid would need to know or WANT to know at this particular age and grade level. The illustrations are well drawn, colorful and fun and the stories likewise, easily made into lessons! Highly recommend all this series of books!

I really like this book because it's a great summary of many important events from world history. I was introduced to it via Classical Conversations, which seems to have taken much of its Memory Work from this source. Very useful to me as a CC tutor and parent.
