REMINDER:  The RAOK forum is open to the public, not just to PBS members.  To protect your privacy, the 3 monthly recurring threads are intended to be limited to just what their titles say - Wishes, RAOK offers, and Thanks for wishes granted.  In other words, the posts in these 3 threads should be originating messages only.  Responses to, or chat about, those posts should be by private PMs.  Chatting is welcome in the Share and Care forum, which is limited to PBS members, and where card showers and prayer chains are available for anyone who asks for support.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to the Wishes thread, where we post our wishes - maybe things we collect, something we can no longer find in our area, things we have always wanted, etc, etc. No wish is too unusual (though common sense is appreciated!); you never know what will turn up.

We must all abide by these PBS rules :
You may not wish for money or money-like items such as gift cards, or for monetary donations for any charities.  You may ask for things you collect for charities, such as cancelled stamps, pop can tabs, etc., but you may not solicit funding. This includes donations for GoFundMe and other fund-raising events.
No buying or selling or advertising. No spam posts.
No wishing for credits.  Credits are bought, sold and loaned only in the Book Bazaar forum, or you may use the PBS Kiosk to purchase them.
Do NOT ask for books, since books are swapped on the site and book deals are made in the Book Bazaar. Sorry, but you may not ask for free books of any kind. (Unpostable books are given away in the damaged book thread of the Bazaar and sometimes in the RAOK thread.  There is also a Damaged/Unpostable Virtual Box in the Games forum.  New participants are welcome!)

Our own RAOK rules:
Please do not offer payment for the things you are sent, including postage. RAOKs are given freely, asking nothing in return except a thank you. You could pay it forward by granting a wish yourself.
Please limit your wishes to no more than 10. Lists could get very long. You can always edit as you go along.
Unlike many other forums, we ask that you do NOT reply within the threads. We do everything by PMs between members. This keeps the threads clutter-free and easy to use. When you come to this ***Wishes*** thread, you see wishes. In the ***RAOK*** thread, it's all about things we are giving away - simple and easy. And to protect your privacy, please do not post your address in the thread - it's all done via PM.
Please check in and answer your PMs. It's frustrating when people want to grant your wishes and don't hear from you!
PLEASE say THANK YOU to the person who grants your wish.  You may use our monthly ***Thank You*** thread, or you may acknowledge what you have received via a personal PM to the member(s) who granted your wishes. This is very important if you wish to continue to receive things from others.

Tips:
Check the RAOK thread before you post wishes -- the thing you want may already be there for the asking!  If you see a wish you can grant, just PM the poster for their address.
And please remember, if one of the moderators contacts you about a posting, then we are only trying to keep the forum running smoothly and according to PBS rules. If you are asked to change, move, or delete your post, please do so. Most of you know that the PBS team does get involved to edit posts, and accounts do get suspended, if rules are broken. We hate to see that happen to our fellow RAOKers!

If you have questions, feel free to contact me.  I wish that your wish(es) will be granted!

Happy Heart Month to All!

I have several wishes this month:

Prayers for our country and all who suffering from disease and heartache.

Prayers for my brother, Chuck, as he continues to fight his cancer.  CT this past week shows no growth in the cancer which is good.  He is suffering with hand and feet numbness.  He is also having some eye issues due to the chemo.

Prayers all who are rebuilding after the natural disasters that have hit so frequently lately.

Prayers for my nephew, Jason, and his family as they lost their home and everything in it to a fire on January 30th.

If you would like a Random surprise from me sometime in 2022 and haven't let me know, please do.  I love surprising people.  Just send me your full name and address.

UPDATE:  The church is way over 200 quilts and have two more weeks to continue quilting before they are delivered to Kentucky.  If this works out like expected, we will make more after this first set is delivered.

Happy February Everyone. Hope it's a good month for us all.

My wishes for this month are:

Still in need of a cell phone charger for my car ( the one Nancy sent me doesn't work sadly). My phone is a galaxy  A32 5G and it has to work in a 2015 Kia Soul like the one showing here : https://www.amazon.com/s?k=car+charger+for+cell+phones+samsung+galaxy&crid=3RF9OWM6UJ0FQ&sprefix=Car+charger+for+cell%2Caps%2C111&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_3_20

Would like a medium or large rubber stamper that has LOVE on it. Also one with HAPPY ANNIVERSARY on it. I have a Happy Birthday one and a congratulations one, but I need the other 2 if I can get them.

For once I don't need stickers or writing paper or blank note cards. I have plenty of those.

Thanks to anyone that can help me out.

Happy February to all!

Prayers always for our country and world in general and for a kind and permanent end to the pandemic.

Prayers extra to all in need of added comfort and healing.

I wish this Valentine's month that each of you might reach out to someone who perhaps you haven't been in contact with for a while or who you think could use added cheer. Send a Valentine's greeting by snail mail, email or even call or text.

Sticker wishes are for bright colored, small to medium size alphabet letter stickers. I only need capital letters. Valentine's stickers, and if any of you come across in a Christmas clearance section some cute hot chocolate stickers.

As always glitter free and unscented stickers only please. I do respectfully ask stickers come from a non smoking home.

Thank you all, always, for all the faith, love, and cheer you spread to so many, including me. God Bless You, dear RAOK friends.

I'm almost out of bubble mailers! I'm posting a lot as I prepare for a move. If anyone has used bubble mailers, I would gladly take them!

I'm looking for some refrigerator note pads that have some pictures or artwork on the top, bottom, or sides, but no lines. I chop them up for bookmarks. A note pad of 50 pages can give me 50 bookmarks if the pictures are useable. I'm not finding much in my Walmart or Dollar store. I did find a refrigerator magnet at Hobby Lobby that had 3 llamas on the bottom that will yield 3x50=150 bookmarks. (Other note paper, computer paper, or cards can be great for their artwork too, but no Christmas and no lines wanted.) Thank you.

Does anyone have a pedometer they no longer use?  I'm trying to keep count of my steps and don't have a smart phone or Fitbit or anything like that.

Helped by Nancy (BostonBooks)!

Please lift Shadow,  my 18 year old tuxedo cat, up in your prayers.  He has two cancerous masses in his intestional  tract and it is not operable or treatable.  He is at home on medications to keep him comfortable and spending his last few days with his family who love him very much.  We are so heartbroken to lose our sweet kitty.  Please pray that we will know when it is time to let him go and find some comfort afterwards.  Thank you.

Continued prayers, please, for friend DIck who is not doing very well with his pancreatic cancer.

Also for my best friend's husband John, who is doing wonderfully well with his cancer battle.  On their way home from weeks at Roswell Park, they were in an accident. Thankfully no other cars involved, no one hurt. They are fine and the car is getting fixed. She said see, all those prayers coming our way are working, keeping us safe!!  Thank you!

I can use artificial flowers and leaves.  Bits and petals are welcome.  Any color, with or without stems.  Holiday or seasonal flowers and greens are fine, too.

New wish:  My daughter is crazy for Sudoku.  I think she would like fairly challenging ones, despite being 10 years old.

This is a very strange request but I'll list it here anyway.  Last year all of our raspberry canes died as did our neighbors.  Does anyone have a few they could share with me.  If so, please send me a pm.

Now that we're settled into our new place I'm looking for music cd's that you might be tired of or are needing space. We like older to newer of pop, r&b, country, rock, alternative, jazz and sleepy tunes. Since I've posted so late this will probably be my March wish also. Thanks much for the consideration!
