Hi all!     My best friend is pregnant with her 3rd child, a little girl, the first girl in her family in 30 years!   I'd love to make some puffy letters that spell out Abby in a pink/white gingham to go on the wall to match her room. I've got one book that shows how to make them with 1/4" foam, but they are really flat and rather boxy looking.   I like the look of rounded letters, moreso stuffed with batting than trying to sew onto foam.  I'm sure I could experiment and figure it out, but any help from anyone who may have made something like this would really help me out!

  Thanks!

Kim,  I couldn't find any patterns/nstructions online but I found some other options for you:

Fabric cubes http://www.flickr.com/photos/londonmummy/429107524/in/set-72157600061487746/

Baby shoes http://stardustshoes.blogspot.com/2006/10/cloth-shoe-pattern.html

There's some other things out there but I should go to bed.
