I have read each of Donna Andrews 'Meg Langslow' books and I never thought I would give one a less than an outstanding review. But I have to say I was disappointed in this one. I thought the writing dragged and there was more information than I ever wanted to know about Renaissance Faires. Some of the usual characters were there but were just kept in the background. If you didn't know the history of each one after reading all the books, you sure wouldn't get much of an explanation of who they are and what their part is here.
