I chose this book because it fit for my yearly reading challenge. I was certainly not disappointed. In this autobiographical novel Mosher weaves stories of his hometown and the quirky but completely endearing characters that live there. As you read about the extraordinary lives of ordinary people it makes you wonder about the people surrounding you. What hidden stories do they have? He weaves in the ugly truth with the magic of days gone past. I will definitely be looking into his other books.
