A murder-mystery romance story about a woman who wakes up to find her husband missing, then dead in the river that contains the falls near the bed and breakfast they are renovating. A good read.

Early one morning, Claire Malvern awakes to an empty bed---and her husband missing. An eyewitness claims to have seen a man jump off the bridge at Bloodroot Falls in the middle of the night. Her husband's body is found snagged in the river rapids and ruled a suicide.
Claire knows the husband would never take his own life. Local sheriff Nick Braden thinks her suspicions of foul play are unfounded. Despite his skepticism, Nick and Claire start digging into her husband's past....and what they uncover paints a shocking partrait of what really happened that September night.
