One of my favorite Heyers. Kit, the twin younger brother of Evelyn (who inherited their father's title as the Earl of Denver) poses as Evelyn when the latter goes missing in order to save the proposed betrothal between Evelyn and Cressy Staveley, but falls for Cressy himself. I loved Kit and Evelyn especially for their love and loyalty to their mother, Lady Fancot, who combined great charm and love for her sons with zero financial ability and made quite a mess of things. And then there's Sir Bonamy Ripple, who has claimed to love Lady Fancot devotedly forever and gets called on his protestations :)

These audios are read by Phyllida Nash, who does an excellent job. They are old fashioned audio cds (9 discs) in a sturdy plastic case, not the 1 disk cd edition of the same reading.
