Well written book. Well-drawn characters and just enough plot. I like this author a lot.
Another family thriller from Ms. Lively. I discovered the depth of her writing after reading The Photograph. Now I seek her books and enjoy them immensely. Family Album gives weight to the old adage, "There are three sides to every story." In this case, there are nine sides. I love how the author twists and weaves the memories of each of the six children as well as the three adults. Nothing earth shattering, just a well written story of a family and the consequences of mistakes. This book also made me look closely at my many friends and wonder why they don't have children. Perhaps something in this book tells the tale.
