A charming enemies to lovers, forced proximity romance with a little dash of mystery added. It was fun to watch the stoic hero warm to the bubbly heroine, and there's horseback riding and the birth of a new foal to make the ranch setting feel real. There are some darker notes in the backstory but the present day romance was delightful.
