Fanny had the advantage of a loving family and community. She saw her lack of eyesight as a blessing that allowed her to best serve God. She accepted every little reward for her talents. She was blessed to have wonderful friends and though she struggled with depression occasionally she was often joyous. She trusted God completely.
This book was an easy and entertaining read as well as a great testimony. The first two books in the women/men of faith series that I read were difficult going. Since then, the rest have been very good to excellent.
