I just read where it has been made into a movie & is slated for a November release.  I read that the director is the same person who directed Shawshank Redemption & The Green Mile.  I thought both movies were excellent adaptations & The Mist happens to be one of my favorite King stories so I'm really looking forward to it.  Just thought I'd mention it here.

I agree about Shawshank and The Green Mile being excellent. I'm looking forward to the Mist.

If I remember right The Mist was a short story. I don't have the book and can't remember the name of the book. I do remember the story scared me big time. Anyone know the name of the book????

OMG I love that story!!! I have it on Cd in 3 d sound and it's awesome!!! Can't wait for the movie!! Thanks for teh heads up!!
