I have a whole slew of books already picked out that I would like to have. Basically it's my reminder/wishlists all rolled up in one. Could you take a look at my 1st two notebook entries and see if you have any of the books listed there?

I do not want them for collector series, I'm not about collecting books. I read nothing but series & sets, and I'm a bit OCD about them. I only read them when they are finished, and I have the whole set in my hands. Which means, I may finally get to read Wheel of Time, IF someone finishes it for Jordan :)

There are tons of authors that write trilogies, sequels. sagas, and such. I read extremely fast. And when you read a book in a day or two, depending on the size, it feels like a chapter or two when it's over. So, I always read books that have at least two books. May Fantasy type runs in the low tech. It can be in outer space or post apotolitc as long as the society has reverted back to the low tech sword and or sorcery civilization. I truly love any setting with magic, elves, swords, and all that goes with that sub-genre.

My historical romance preference runs along the Scottish highlander type, often with a time travel to it. Mostly with that big strapping hunk that rules the keep, until the Lady shows him otherwise.

So, maybe you have 4 or 5 books and would give me 1 off for the postage you would save? I don't have to always get a 2/1 deal, just a little share of the savings you will get when you send several books to one person.  Please let me know if you find some books in my notebook entries. And if you are a boxer, talk to me, I have more books than are on my shelf!! I just might have the kinds of books you want in return.

Thanks for visiting!

I noticed that under Tamora Pierce you don't have her most recent book. It's called Terrier, and the sequel Bloodhound is coming out next year. If you like her stuff, you should check into this one. It's a bit more adult (like the Trickser's duet) but it's also a little weird because it's her first attempt at a journal/first person story. I loved it, and am dying for the next one!!

If I were willing to part with my Tamora Pierce stuff I'd be making a deal in a second! ;) Good luck on finding your wishes!

I put you on my Buddy list. I have a couple of the Julie Garwood books you have listed.  But I haven't read them yet.  As soon as I've read them I'll check back and see if you still need them.

Amanda, you caught me in the middle of updating. Removing books I've received, and adding sets I just started, along with updating some of the author's. I didn't see hers, but I have it added in there now :)

I don't keep books anymore, except one set. I have the Left Behind series in HC, and hope my children & grandchildren will enjoy them. Most others, as long as there's a swapping place like PBS, I figure that book I already read is a 'new-to-me' book sitting there wasting time! hahahahha Post it up and send it off, so I can get another!

I can't believe someone finally made my dream come true. I've dreamed of having such a swapping thing in my own home. I have over 6000 books, of course, about 1500 came from PBS now, but about that many left too, So, I probably had near that to begin with. I've daydreamed many, many times trying to figure out how I could make this thing work out of my home. I never thought of doing it big scale. I'd have had a nice inventory to start out with! hahahaah I wonder how many books R&R had amassed when they first went live with this? You know they had to have something for people to start swapping with.

Hmmmm.... just interesting to me, since I dreamed it so many times. I do now have at least the floor to wall bookshelves in the living room that were always in my dreams. It's really cool, I have about 2000 books on them, maybe more, I'm not sure. They are really nice ;)

Mary, thanks, I appreciate that!

Sherry, I have several of the books on your list. I don't have them on my shelf. I need to go thru them and let you know which ones I have and we can do a box or something. I'll get back to you.

And also just to check. I have some of these books in readable but not postable condition. I know that you like to circulate your books back thru the system so you probably don't want any that can't be reposted but let me know if you do cause that's a whole nuther ballgame.<G>

Hi, Kathi, I just received a very nice bunch of unpostables from someone the other day. DH put some good tape on them, and they will be good enough for one more reading by ME! hahahaha I'm always game to work out a deal with some freebie unpostables thrown in. As long as I can get my reading out of them, and they don't cost me an arm and a leg, I'm happy to discuss options ;)  Go thru your stuff, and let me know what you have.

Mary, check my list again, I just received several Garwood's in the mail. I think I only need one at this point. If you have it, let me know and I will mark it as coming from you and then I won't order it from anybody else until you get it read. There'll be no rush on it, I've got a TBR Room, not pile :)

Anybody else? 2/1 3/2 5/3 6/4 Anything? I'm still looking for lots of Fantasy books. Take a look at my notebook entries!
