I don't even know where to start with this book. First off, if you are an overweight girl, DO NOT READ this book. You will feel so bad about yourself that you'll hate how you look. The word "fat" is probably used well over 100 times in this book and it is used in the worst way possible. The story was also way out there for me. I couldn't imagine the main story line happening in real life. Overall, far fetched, terribly written, not impressing.

I enjoyed this book. It's well written and a fast read. Although it is in the Young Adult category it offers a lot of topics that would make for a good book discussion for any age group. "The Fat Girl" could be anybody. That character could have been the ugly, deformed, misfit, etc. girl or boy. The pitfalls and traps of relationships, peer pressure, unreal expectations, and naiveté, along with family dysfunctionalism is always a good thing to gain insight about whether one is young or old.
