Years ago after watching the TV movie based on this true story, my sister and I read this book and couldn't put it down. It was well written with all the details of the evidence, but without being dry or overwhelming. I highly recommend it and give it 4.5 stars out of 5.

I went back and forth on whether or not he was guilty. At one point I was sure he wasnt, then I was positive he was. Now the only thing I know for sure is his wife and their 2 little girls were murdered brutally and that is very sad. I think he might have done it, but I dont think he did. At least I have reasonable doubt that he is guilty so I dont think I could have found him guilty if I had been on the jury. Read this book and see what you think.

The true story of Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald and the murder of his family. MacDonald is doing life in prison having been found guilty of these murders. He is appealing for a new trial because of evidence that was never presented. The evidence is discussed in detail in the book. Again - fascinating true crime drama.
