In this story, Daniel has lost his family and now his daughter has ran away from her home in New York to be with her dad in New Orleans. Her dad only has supervised visits with his children once in a great while. He does everything in his power to get his children to stay for the summer but he has to go through a lot to do that. He falls in love with the woman who testified against him in court 5 years before his daughter ran away.
