Read by Lorelei King
I enjoyed this installment a little better than the last few. Mostly because Ranger was more in the background in this one and Morelli was prominent. I like Ranger well enough, but he's really less of a love interest than the person Stephanie can call when she needs to break into someone's apartment. (Really, babe!) Lorelei King once again does a super job, with characters as diverse as a teenage boy, a Kentucky country singer and a Jersey thug.

Don't listen to this in a populated place. I listened in the airplane, and people around me looked out of the corner of their eye as I laughed out loud! Love Grandma Mauer!

Loved it! More info on Morelli's past, and great side characters.

The funny was still funny, Stephanie is still Stephanie. Plot line and secondary story just a bit thin. If I had read the hard copy I would have been pressed to actually read every page but Lorelei King as Narrator always brings out an extra something to help the characters move along.

This was quite disappointing. I was in a hurry to read it, thinking there would be SOMETHING "big" with Ranger or Morelli but it just fizzled. I think Janet is running out of good plot lines and grasping at straws to sell books. She knows we'll buy the new releases because we are HOOKED but truth be told, she really disappointed a few of us with this one.
With the let-down from this, I decided to write my OWN sizzling mystery/Romance. Let's just hope Number 15 from Janet is more interesting with some sensualness in it. Not just a "Ohhh, he kissed me and I got warm to my hoohaa..." and go to the next day all in the same paragraph. She needs to indulge a little info. Did Stephanie get tingly or wet? We'll never know!
Boring!!
