This is an audio cassette of 2 stories from the book "A Woman's Eye". The book is edited by Sara Paretsky who is also one of the 21 contributing authors.
Ghost Station is by Carolyn Wheat. It follows a newly sober and newly reinstated beat cop Maureen Gallagher who is searching for the subway tunnels for a graffiti artist. When she sees a gang of kids and follows a homeless man into the tunnels, she more than her life in danger.
Getting to Know You by Antonia Fraser follows character Jemima Shore. As a TV interviewer, Jemima is following a story to a seedy hotel to meet a skittish political figure. When someone else answers the knock, she must use her wits to stay alive and put all the pieces together.
