The Keaton family is gathering for a week long holiday together at the parent's compound. Most of them know each other with the exception of a son's new fiancée. We learn that the family appears to get along; the parents are well off and often help financially with their sons' businesses. Then one of the family members is found dead. Daughter-in-law, Summer, is the narrator of the story and has an instant dislike and suspicion of the fiancée, Hannah, after she lies about past events.

Our author managed to begin a slow burn with the story. Who did it, who do I trust, why would anyone do such a terrible thing? It couldn't be a family member could it? Maybe it was an intruder or a member of the staff. I will admit that I didn't figure it out. Great whodunit!
