Very inspiring story about the power of perseverance, trusting in God, and believing in yourself even in the face of doubt or outright detractors. Interestingly, Brett Butler was one of my favorite players when I was growing up as a Cleveland Indians fan in the 1980s. I'm glad he wrote this book, because now beyond just being a good player, his story is inspiring to me.

The way I discovered this book is worth telling as well. I was in Dollar Tree with my son who was buying World Cup Soccer Player trading cards. On the shelf near them were very old Fleer baseball card packets that you can see what cards are inside and I was looking through them. Right on top of the pile was a pack that had several Cleveland Indians players from the 1980s that I remembered including Brett Butler. The memories flooded back, I bought the cards, went home and looked him up on google and found that he wrote this book. I'm glad that God lead me to this story!
