Cuban cop Mercado is on her way to Colorado to avenge her fatherâs death. Her deadbeat dad skipped out of Cuba and settled in a ski resort popular with the Hollywood set such as; Tom Cruise & Kevin Spacey. I found this book to be an interesting debut for Adrian McKinty. I liked the colorful characters and Mercadoâs fortitude in overcoming obstacles. The Sean Duffy series is still a favorite but I would recommend this to those who love thrillers.
