A great tale! Live vicariously thru Caroline Paul, sister of actress Alexandra (Baywatch). Her dream is becoming a fireman... saving lives with courage and compassion. In spite of the adversity against her, she struggles on with passion and integrity. An inspiring read!

Loved the book. Being a native of San Francisco it was a good look inside the SFFD. Things have changed over the years (we have a woman Fire Chief right now 2011) but some things will still take time to change. Very good read, well written.

I really enjoyed this book. You had a front row seat to what it was like being one of the first female fire fighters in San Fran 'back in the day'.
Caroline's experience's are true and will make any woman proud.

This being the 'revised' edition does not take away from the original and is a great read.
