First off, I've had a crush on Tony Danza since I was probably 3 years old, and have enjoyed him in most everything he was in. (REALLY miss his talk show.) I also adore cooking (especially Italian cooking), so I was excited to see this cookbook he had made. I love the pictures and the stories... and while some of the recipes were quite complex, most of them were accessible and easy, and very tasty. Most definitely recommend.

I'm really enjoying this book more than I thought I might. It's more than a cookbook - it's more than biography. It's a cookgraphy or cookbookbio. At any rate, Tony Danza, tells all about his family and their favorite foods. Lots of good recipes too.

Interesting info about Danza, his family, and their cooking. Sampling of recipes: Arugula, White Bean and Red Onion Salad; Tortilla Soup with Chicken and Avocado; Quick or Date Sauce (called Date Sauce because they men of Danza's family like to impress their date's with this spaghetti sauce); Pasta with Calamari and Shrimp; Sausage Peppers and Onions; Tiramisu.
