One of Laurence Sander's finest. While a killer is roaming the city, Edward X Delaney's wife is dying of a mystery disease. Must read for those who enjoy a good mystery.

Wow, I read this book about 20 years ago and remembered it as being really good. Just reread it and the story is still good but you can see how much things have changed in the past 33 years. You tend to forget how people spoke or treated other people. The medical world has changed significantly and law enforcement. I found myself shaking my head while reading but still enjoyed the book. For those who think that things have gotten worse and remember the "good old days" read this book, then you will have to admit that somethings have improved.

One of my all-time favorite serial killer suspense novels. Described as the "ultimate psychosexual thriller", it has all the elements to keep you up all night -- truly impossible to put down.
