Okay, so a lot of Reeman's books have similar plot outlines. At least the people are different and the novels takes place in different situations. But then, you can say this about Louis L'Amour's novels too, and I really enjoy both authors.
However, unlike his naval series, Reeman doesn't seem to do as well with his Royal Marines series. I have read the two first books and they read almost like the same book with the same shallow characters, even when the events take place 50 years apart.
All the other Reeman books I read are keepers. I am not so sure about this series.
