A delightful book that exposes the teacher as less than perfect. Despite mistakes made, the school year turns out to be successful. I read this to my class and they wrote me (the teacher) letters about what they hope this school year will be like. It gives the students an opportunity to privately reveal what they fear and what the anticipate with joy.
