Great historical perspective of some Intersting California events. The introduction of the wild oat in the 1770's to the 1965 Watts Riots. Great for book reports on California!

This was a really good book. If you'd like a history of California race relations as told through it's literature, then you should read this book. I got many literary recommendations just by reading it.
