Another great Jim Henson Muppet book! Wonderful, colorful illustrations of the Muppets as kids. Kermit's friends suddenly notice the funny sound his feet make when he walks and begin to make fun of him. Kermit is embrassed and doesn't like being different. He begins to question about how he is made. He tried to fhide it but he couldn't change the way he was. His friends didn't have a clue they had hurt him. They apologize and tell him they acutally like his funny feet.
Kids as the grow begin to notice little things about them that are different especially when their friends tease them. I liked this little book because it lets a child know it's okay to be you. You are right just the way you are. Questions at the end help discuss this on a child's terms.
