FOLLOW THE MOON is the story of widowed Lady Johanna and Payen, the assassin sent to kill her on orders from an unknown enemy. Payen, harboring a dark secret and a hidden agenda, doesn't kill Johanna as instructed. Instead he spirits her away from France, back to her home in England--removing her at first for his own selfish reasons. Along the journey they fall in love and begin to make plans for their future. Then, while away on business, Payen is accused of a horrible crime--the crime of Johanna's murder. Johanna goes to the king to prove Payen's obvious innocence and while there she encounters unexpected treachery that threatens both of their lives.
