This is the second book of the Cold Creek trilogy. The main character is Kate Lockwood who returns to her hometown for her sister's wedding. While there she meets Grant Mason who has a mound on his property. Kate believes the mound is from the Adena civilization and she wants to dig into it. Grant refuses. Then accidents start to befall a group of four friends that maybe tied to the mound. It was a quick easy read.
