When I first began reading this book, it was a little slow and a little sappy. But since it was a book we're reading for our book club, I thought I'd been stick with it. I'm so glad that I did. The story picked up and really held my interest. As another reviewer said, it didn't turn out like I thought it would and held a surprise or two. But there was enough drama and laughter to hold me to the end, even to the point where I couldn't put it down. Enjoy the book!

This is a great Christmas story! It doesn't follow the path that you think it's going to
follow but I like surprises. I really enjoyed it a lot. This is my first book by Christine Lynxwiler and I was really impressed. I plan to read more of her books! I like the heroine fighting for what she believes in, no matter what. The fact that it's set in a town called Jingle Bells and all of the shops are Christmas- themed makes it a fun read too. The epilogue at the end was pure magic! I loved it!
