  "Forever my love,
I will love you to death",
Words dripping softly like warm honey,
or perhaps blood, from her painted lips.

"Till death do us part",
She sang to a tune only
she could hear, soft tendrils of
lace caressing her angelic body as
she reached for her toy.

"I'll hold your heart in my hands",
softly she spoke, pale hands gripping
the handle as she strokes the tip against
the bony bars of the prison hiding your heart.

"Forever my love", is but a moment in time,
Much shorter than the blade of the knife,
cold steel glinting brightly against the
warm flesh of your chest.

I kind of missed the point on this one. Is it about a manipulative, faithless, treacherous woman?

You got the point exactly.

Well, then I didn't miss it at all, just took me a while to catch on. It kind of threw me that the content didn't seem to fit with the title, but I guess it was meant to be an ironic title, then. Alan, your work always impresses me -- you are so very versatile. Keep up the good work!
