We have a Wednesday night faith group in our little town.  My husband works late on Wednesdays so the kids and I have been going for the past 2 years.  This is our third year!  My older two are students, my youngest gets to play in the nursery and I am a music leader!  For the past two years my son has enjoyed the group, but he always complained that he missed me.  He was in 5 day/week 1/2 day preschool for those two years, and we really didn't get alot of time together.  He was always a bit melancholy and looked at me with big sad eyes during the music sessions because it was one more thing that took him away from me.  Last night was our first night for the new year.  Granted he is older (5) and it might be developmental, but he had a BLAST!  He was singing and doing all the motions and really enjoying himself during the music section I led.  He said it was GREAT to see his friends from preschool again, (but I still want to homeschool mom... don't send me to school! LOL).  I think we have a better balance in our time together and the group will be a great thing for us this year!
