This book was one of 10 Silhouette Desire Romances written by Shirley Tallman, author of The Sarah Woolson Mystery Series, under a Psysudonym in the 1970's and 1980's. Several of her books received critial aclaim. If you like romances, you will enjoy this book.

This is a book where both parties are far in the wrong (and the heroine's best friend isn't much better). The heroine is prejudiced and wishy-washy; the hero is imperious, manipulative, sneaky and thinks he should always get his own way. I found it hard to like either of them. I recommend you give it a miss.
