I am wondering about the kidney friendly cookbooks.  I have on my wishlist cookbooks for Renal diets, because my dad is on Dialysis.  Is that what they mean by Kidney friendly?  How many pagesin each?

Yes I think so there is about 20 pages it's small. It's called Kidney Friendly Comfort Foods by A Collection of Recipes for People with Chronic Kidney Disease
