GET A FREELANCE LIFE is a well written account of negotiating a career as a newbie freelance writer. While I have read many of the tips from this book in similar accounts of the writer's life, I was pleased with the author's organization and presentation. The book is neither namby pamby pablum, nor is it dissuadingly dour. It is the right mix of optimism and wisdom born of experience that every fledgling freelance writer needs to learn from.
